Do you know what email marketing is?

One of the biggest set backs of the “Free” blogging platform is the inability to add an auto responder to your blog.

No disrespect to the free platforms because I started onWordPress.com when I first got into blogging. I didn’t have a budget and I was willing to use the limitation I had to build my business. It wasn’t until I got banned from the site and lost all my traffic that I realized the downfall of having a “Free” blog site.

The blessing of creating and having is your own blog is that you can never get kicked off/banned and you can customize the look and feel to what you want to represent.

Email Marketing is a very powerful tool to have on your blog. It gives you the ability to stay in contact with your fan. You will notice that I have 2 auto-responders on this blog post. The one on the right top is a download for a free book. One of my favorites actually. The other is at the end of this post and that is for getting signed up to receive my blog updates.

So people have at least 2 options to opt in to my mailing list.

Today I share some insight on the importance of email marketing. Enjoy.

What Email Marketing  Do I Recommend?

There are a lot of auto responders out there for email marketing. The two I am going to recommend is because I have used them. I will mention a few others but I have never used them. Do some research and find which email marketing tool is right for your needs.

• Aweber – my number one favorite. Have been using it for years. I love the email capture forms and the ease of this. It may take a few minutes to learn but there are some great tutorials about this system. As an affiliate they allow multiple email share forms. Which means your affiliate gets the email address and so do you!
• Icontact – used this in the very beginning of my blogging career. Amazing social media integration and super easy to use.
• Constant Contact
• MailChimp

Prices will vary with each email marketing system. Find the one that fits your budget and your needs.

Suggestions for how to use email marketing?

Use it for reminders, competitions, sweepstakes, give a ways, free offers, and so much more. The list really is endless for what you can use email marketing for. But it is one of the requirements for any of my blogging students. I tell them that it is the fastest way to make money with your blog.

Everyone wants to know how to succeed online, but how does one fail online?

My story would be one of many small failures online. It began about 6 years ago. I began to fail online when I was conflicted with what old school teachings I was getting from my leaders inside my mlm.

Sitting in the training we were taught… “This is what works. Follow this system for proven success.”

So my question became, how do I find the right people to talk to?

Some of the answers were, “Go Talk to Rich People” or “Go to the Mall and talk to all the employees”, or “Just talk to anyone within 5 ft of you”.

But what about online marketing?

I was told that it was a fad. (this was only 6 years ago!!!) No one was going to use the internet to build a business. But I was determined to figure out this thing called online marketing with attraction marketing.

After buy all my marketing courses the one thing I learned what that I needed a sales funnel.

If you are online you need to have a capture page and an offer. Send traffic to an offer and get people to sign up. The ultimate power is in your list. This is the #1 piece to your puzzle. If you are not working to build an email list you could be seriously hurting your business. Use your list to email your prospects, or even do follow up.

Email is a powerful way to stay in front of your audience and if done right you become a permission based marketer. This means that people are signing up to your lists know that they are going to get information and possibly be sold something also. I recommend Aweber as my preferred choice for auto-responders.

Heck, I get email’s from Chili’s every 3 days offering me a free dessert or appetizer. I joined their list because I saw value in the offer. Now do I go to Chili’s all the time? Nope but it is nice to know that I have this. It is a great way to make me a return customer.

That is what you want to achieve with your list. Follow up and make them a return customer. They can even be a returning customer to your blog. Create value and information that they need and fans will be flocking to return to your blog.

Here’s the thing… Your right side has to be congruent with your body. This is where most of the mistakes happen… yes, even to me.

How Much Does Reliv Cost?

I really love this question and the reason why is because it is the wrong question to be asking.

The real question is what is your health worth to you? How much does it cost you to be sick or your children to be sick?

We are in a place where we rely on prescription drugs and over the counter meds to help us feel better. But they do little more than to mask the real problem.

What is the real problem. We lack is a strong immune system. If you do some research you will find that almost all diseases, colds, and such are autoimmune problems. It means your immune system is crashing and you are giving way for infection, disease, and more to invade your body and reside there. You are actually allowing yourself to get sick. Did you know that stress can weaken your immune system also?

If we were to go on the very low level of the cost of being sick it would look like this:

Missed Work: $7.25 (minimum wage) $58 before taxes

Cold medicine: $25 – figure you are getting at least 2 of something, one for day, one for night and maybe some tissues.

Doctor vistit: $30 co-pay or more if you don’t have insurance

Stress on Family: ???

Just right there… you have lost over $100 in just one day of being sick. What happens if you are out of more than one day? Weeks or even months?

What is your health worth to you? How much are you willing to spend a day to be healthy?

Is $2 too much? How about $3?

What do you pay for a cup of coffee or even a soda?

I would rather pay a couple of bucks a month to stay healthy, then risk the cost of getting sick.
